Ella first founded Ella’s Botanicals in her kitchen, since then it has grown into a widely loved and respected natural skin care brand with wide distribution in Canada, including Whole Foods. Ella has great ambition to take her line into the international market. We worked closely with Ella to make the brand look and reflect who she is, with her high mindedness, integrity for how her products should be made, while not forgetting always a sense playfulness of youthful vigor.

We redesigned the identity using Ella’s signature as logo-type, communicating her personal commitment and guarantee for the quality of her products.
Extending the look of the identity, we redesigned the whole product line packaging, modernizing the look and using clear color as guideline. The packaging not only communicated the brand’s values and ethos, it’s also quite effective at popping out on the shelf and in magazine reviews.
Extending the look and feel of the brand onto it’s e-commerce ready brand website, building a consistent brand experience for EB’s customers.
With the new look, EB has successfully rebranded itself, and started it’s journey onto the international market, while remaining strong at home in Canada. The brand has also received a lot more press coverage, and better placement on store shelves as a result of the rebranding effort.
