Over the last 2 years, GIDEA GROUP’s work scope has become much more international, working with clients as well as creative teams from more parts of the world. Recently our creative director David Pan travelled to Zimbabwe with his son, and the founder of Zimnguva (a new socially start-up which we also helped to name) to conduct a market study trip. GIDEA GROUP is helping Zimnguva with its overall company brand communication and marketing strategies, which involve B2C products for the local African market, as well as B2B and B2C products for export into the global market. On this trip the team drove around 5,000 KM, covering around 70% of all of Zimbabwe, visiting business associates, suppliers and visiting stores and retail channels to get a context of the local culture. Upon returning to Taiwan, David shared with us many of his “African stories” on the extra challenges of starting a business in a still developing market like Zimbabwe, along with the excitement and opportunities. He also remarked how interesting he has been traveling to Africa (without prior planning) 3 years, having now been to 4 African countries, and how thankful he is for the opportunities to learn, contribute and meet with all the great people he has met.
過去兩年好點子創意群的工作範圍越來越國際化,不但是服務國外客人,也與國際的創意團隊有越來越多的合作。最近創意總監潘為剛與他的大兒子到非洲辛巴威,與Zimnguva的創辦人一同到辛巴威做市場研究。Zimnugva是一個有社會工作思維的新創的農產業公司,有種植還有植物煉油的事業。好點子的任務就是幫這個公司做所有的辛巴威國內B2B行銷以及國際市場B2B及B2C行銷,負責公司整體的品牌溝通,就連公司的名字Zimnguva也是我們取的。在這次短短的十天行程裡面,當地團隊帶潘為跑了5,000多公里,繞了辛巴威國家七成的範圍與商業合作夥伴、供應廠商開會,以及看許多的通路、商店,了解當地的消費習性。回到台灣之後,潘為跟我們分享了許多有趣的故事,以及在辛巴威這樣還在發展的國家創業所會面臨的挑戰,以及讓人興奮的機會。潘為覺得很有趣,過去幾年他在沒有計畫之下跟非洲變得很有緣份,過去三年他連續每年都到非洲,已經去了4個非洲國家,也很感謝能夠有這樣的機會可以認識很多的人,學到很多,以及用他所學到的想辦法去祝福非洲。
